Product Specification: Formaldehyde Emission Grades (E0 / E1 / E2)

Standard: GB/T 39600-2021, 1m³ climate chamber method

Note: E2 is an old grade from obsolete GB18580-2001. Bare E2 panels are prohibited for direct indoor use in China.

1. E0 board

Substrate: E0 grade. Formaldehyde emission ≤0.050 mg/m³, tested in accordance with GB/T 39600-2021 (1m³ climate chamber method).

1. E1 board

Substrate: E1 grade. Formaldehyde emission ≤0.124 mg/m³, tested in accordance with GB/T 39600-2021 (1m³ climate chamber method).

1. E2 board

Substrate: E2 grade (old GB standard). Formaldehyde emission >0.124 mg/m³. Bare panel is not permitted for direct indoor application. Tested per GB/T 39600-2021 (1m³ climate chamber method).

Important: China GB grades cannot be directly equivalent to EU EN 13986 E1/E2. If goods for EU market, EN717-1 test report is required separately.
